think-cell

think-cellthink-cell has established its product as the world’s leading software for creating data-driven business presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint. Since our founding in 2002, we have helped more than one million users at over 25,000 companies build their presentations faster and more efficiently. Our mission is to streamline every aspect of presentation creation, providing the tools users need to quickly and accurately create any slide, from agendas and process flows to complex data-driven charts.

Key elements of ensuring productivity are our intuitive user interface, our unique layout algorithm, and our software’s seamless integration with Microsoft Office. We work on challenging visualization problems, we reverse-engineer Microsoft’s code, and we reinvent how slides are created. As think-cell is the only German company funding the C++ ISO committee delegation, the components we invent here have a good chance of being incorporated into the standard. Learn more about how we use C++ in our talks and publications.

Meet us at CppCon 2025

think-cell is proud to contribute to the CppCon technical program with two talks by our engineers:

  • Cache-Friendly C++ by Jonathan Müller (Tuesday, September 16, 16:45)
  • To Err is Human: Robust Error Handling in C++26 by Sebastian Theophil (Wednesday, September 17, 15:15)

Both sessions dive into practical insights from our daily work with modern C++, covering performance, correctness, and the kind of engineering we care deeply about.

European Dinner – Monday, September 15

We’re also hosting a European Dinner on Monday, September 15 — a casual evening gathering for CppCon attendees who are based in Europe or simply interested in connecting with the European C++ community. Whether you already live in the EU or are curious about the tech scene there, this is a great chance to meet like-minded folks and make new connections over good food.

You’ll chat with our CTO Christian Klöckner, along with think-cell developers Sebastian Theophil and Jonathan Müller, as well as others working across the region. Details and RSVP info will be shared during the conference — we’d love to see you there.
