Interested in Geology, Music, and Dinosaurs? You’re in luck – This year’s CppCon field trip will be going to Morrison, CO; home of Red Rocks Amphitheater and Dinosaur Ridge!
The CppCon 2026 Field Trip is sponsored by the North Denver Metro C++ Meetup. Join us on the first Thursday of every month to discuss C++ topics of the day.
We will leave the Gaylord Rockies resort at 11:30 MDT on September 13th and arrive at Red Rocks at 12:30 MDT. We will have lunch then go to the Dinosaur Ridge museum at around 1:30 MDT.
The Dinosaur Ridge museum is currently under renovations, so it will be exciting to see the new displays they have in the fall!
There will be some hiking involved with this trip, but will be totally optional.
The Details:
- Limited to 34 participants
- Leave the Gaylord at 11:30 MDT on Sunday, September 13th
- Arrive back to the Gaylord by 17:00 MDT
Registration fee of $129 covers
