Technical Presentation Training is a one-day onsite workshop led by Andrei Alexandrescu, and Sherry Sontag. It is offered at the Gaylord Rockies from 09:00 to 18:00 on Sunday, September 15th, 2024 (immediately prior to the conference). Lunch is included.

Because participants are given class time to make short presentations, the number of participants is strictly limited!

Course Instructors

Andrei Alexandrescu wrote three best-selling books on programming and numerous articles and papers on wide-ranging topics. His signature speaking style combining complex information with spontaneous interaction and wit made him a popular speaker at conferences worldwide, in spite (or some may say, in part because) of his thick Romanian accent.

Sherry Sontag came to Bloomberg Engineering after co-authoring “Blind Man’s Bluff,” a New York Times bestseller about submarine espionage during the Cold War. Hired by Bloomberg 17 years ago for her ability to talk to anyone and actually listen, she recently has been working to create community consensus among developers as part of the Code Governance Solutions team. She is a graduate of Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism and Barnard College, Columbia University.
